China Post EMS or International EMS (Express Mail Service) is the largest express service provider in China. The China International EMS is a delivery service offered by China Postal Express & Logistics and other foreign operators. The China International EMS service is available for delivering documents and materials, urgent letters, financial bills, samples and all kinds of merchandise from and to other countries with high reliability within 3-7 working days.

There is a weight limit applied to the parcel shipped by China International EMS, depending on the destination, ranging from 20kg to 40kg. The shipping rate also differs by location and weight.

How to track China Post Air Mail?

As with every other China Post tracking service, China Post Air Mail packages come along with a registered China Post tracking number. Packages sent by the China Post Air Mail service will be identified with a 13-digit tracking code starting with the letter «R» and ending with «CN». The delivery duration varies with the postal methods. Of course, Air is the fastest, and you can also choose Surface or SAL. The faster category you choose, the more expensive it will be. So choose the most suitable way as per your needs. Please note that vaseline, unguent and other cream articles are prohibited in air transportation.
Fill in the Dispatch Note correctly in detail. Remember that the Sender information is on the left while the Consignee is on the right. Fill the information in English. Telephone is the most important, so do not miss it either for sender or consignee.

Принцип классификации международных почтовых отправлений в Китае – обычный для всех членов Почтового союза: отправления весом до 2-х кг именуется мелким пакетом, свыше 2-х кг – посылкой.

Мелкие пакеты бывают регистрируемые либо нерегистрируемые, а вот посылки регистрируются по умолчанию, регистрируются также любые отправления при отправке их экспресс-службой EMS.

Соответственно, зарегистрированное отправление дает возможность отслеживания его перемещения с помощью специальных интернет-сервисов, как официальных, так и независимых, а незарегистрированное – не дает.

Для осуществления отслеживания отправлению присваивается уникальный код из 13 знаков, где первый знак обязательно обозначает категорию (R – мелкий пакет, C – посылка, E – EMS-отправление), второй символ добавляется для повышения уникальности и может быть любым знаком латиницы, далее следует 9-значный цифровой код, а последними двумя символами обозначается страна отправителя. Код страны, из которой отправлена посылка, является типовым согласно стандартам UPU. В частности, все отправления, пересылаемые из Китая, оканчиваются буквами CN.

Если трек-номер для вашей посылки не был предоставлен вам магазином, стоит выяснить – возможно, его приобретение предлагается как отдельная услуга за дополнительную плату (как правило, незначительную).

How Do I Change the Shipping Address for China Post?

Unfortunately, China Post is unable to change your shipping address once the parcel has been shipped. If your parcel hasn’t been shipped, you can always contact your seller to revise your shipping address before they hand it to China Post.

To know where your parcel is, go to the China Post parcel tracking page and fill in your China Post parcel tracking number. If no status is shown, it is likely that the seller has yet to ship it. Otherwise, you are unable to change your address anymore.

In this case, you have to check your parcel status with China Post often in order to not miss it.
